2009 HOSTESS & EMCEE
Eileen McShea: Eileen McShea: Eileen has been a familiar face on Cleveland telelvision since 1992. Her dogs, "Charlie", "Wyatt", and bassett hound, "Waldo" (1989-2001) were often featured in her promotion pictures for T.V. Her dogs made the cover of "Cleveland Canine Magazine"' (Volume 1, issue 2....Dick Goddard's pooches made the first cover!) Charlie is a rescued golden mix and Wyatt, a yellow lab mix. Sadly, Wyatt passed away on March 25th at the age of 16. Eileen is active with the Lake County Humane Society and The Sanctuary for Senior Dogs. She and her family have also fostered dogs for G.R.I.N.(Golden Retrievers In Need), so it won't be long before a new dog joins her pack.

2009 JUDGES

Dr. Brian Foresgren:
Dr. Forsgren spent 19 years as the staff veterinarian at the Cleveland APL. In 1999 he opened the Gateway Animal Clinic in Tremont. In 2009 Forsgren was awarded the Companion Animal Veterinarian of the Year by the American Veterinary Medical Asociation. The honor was appreciated but how much more of an awesome honor is it to be chosen as judge for the Dog-Gone-Home-Show at Rescue Rave with all these other hyper cool judges!

Jennifer Toohey:
Hear her show weekdays 3-7 pm on Q104 and www.q104.com and catch her segments on Fox 8 on “That’s Life” weekdays at 10 am. She’s the proud owner of 2 cats, Smoodges (rescued from the Cleveland APL) and Puddin’, and is hoping to add a puppy to the mix soon!

Judy Brandon: Judy graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 1987 with degrees in drawing and enameling. It is the enameling techniques of scribing metal and the layering of transparent and opaque colors that are the foundation for my paintings. Judy has had several solo shows and has been invited to participate in shows all across the country from California to New York. She's known in Cleveland for showing thoughtful, provocative works on paper and for having the only full scale art exhibit at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. She has created over 70 works of art to raise awareness of the dwindling rhino populations. Currently, Judy is showing my abstract landscapes in several exhibits. Judy is taking advantage of the opportunities the internet provides to connect with other artists and galleries interested in environmental issues, particularly concerning the freaky weather.
