Daycare reservations are required, however, if you forget feel free to call to see if we have space.
To enroll to The Mutt Hutt you must fill out the proper forms provided below and be approved at an on-site evaluation. Evaluations can last 1/2 hour to five hours depending on your dog. Your dog is welcome to stay for up to 5 hours free during the evaluation or they can stay for a full-day and pay for a half-day ($12). We can suggest plenty of places in historic Tremont to visit during the consultation. We have a complete guide to Tremont including a map at our facility.
Evaluations are done by appointment only, so please call ahead. Once you have completed the forms, and obtained the shot records from your vet, call 216.621.MUTT to schedule the evaluation.
Tours of our facility are held on Saturday's or before/after daycare hours by appointment only.

STEP TWO: VACCINATIONS
Bring proof of vaccinations from your vet or have the vet fax the vaccination records to 216-621-6888. Before your dog enters of facitliy you must provide proof from their vet that they have been vaccinated against:
Distemper/Parvo (DHLPP) Vaccination
Rabies Vaccination
Bordetella Injection* (within 72 hours of entering)
Puppies require at least two rounds of distemper-parvo shots. All dogs must wear flea protection between April and November. Flea collars are not acceptable, please use a topical flea preventative. We recommend K9 Advantix.
*In many cases the bordetella vaccination is optional during your dogs exam but we require your dog receives this annual booster at least 72 hours before they visit the facility. We highly recommend you also do a 6-month nasal bordetella vaccination as well which helps prevent Canine Cough. We have available the 6-month nasal bordetella vaccination for $12 that you can administer to your own pet. |

STEP THREE: EVALUATION
Since we are a cage-free facility we require that all dogs over the age of 5 months come in for an evaluation. Evaluations are done by appointment only. At the evaluation we will need you to bring the the complete forms, proof of vaccination and your Mutt. Because most of the dogs attending are very tired by the days end, we do not conduct evaluations after 1:30 PM. Assuming your dog is enrolled on the evaluation day, he or she is welcome to stay for the day and you will be charged $12 (half-day rate).
Dogs that do not attend after a four-month period are subject to a second evaluation. The second evaluation cost is $10 and your dog is welcome to stay for up to 2 hours.
|
STEP FOUR: PLAY!
As soon as your Mutt successfully completes steps 1, 2 & 3, he’ll be ready for his first play date.

Being a responsible pet owner is important to us. Therefore, we request that your dog be registered with the Cuyahoga County Auditor (residents of Cuyahoga County). To obtain a yearly license ($16) you may get the forms at several locations or register your dog on-line. Click here for more information. Be sure to share with us your dogs license number so we have it on file. |
